Daydreamers @ Home & Garden Expo 2016

The Home and Garden Expo (commonly called The Expo) is both the largest and longest running event dedicated to home and garden in SL, and runs from the 14th February through the 6th March 2016.

The Expo features a wide variety of creators: From well known brands to up and coming designers, hobbyists and professional merchants participate side by side to raise money for Relay For Life of Second Life (RFL of SL).

[Daydreamers] is at Home and Garden Expo 2016 this year located on the sim Hope 7 and they have several items available for purchase. I just love the pallet furniture and it is textured very well!


The Adult Pallet Sofa has 15 single animations, 22 cuddle animations, 13 friend animations and 18 adult animations.

The PG Swing Chair has 8 female and 8 male animations as well as 10 couple cuddles.

Chez Moi @ The RFL Home & Garden Expo 2016

The RFL Home and Garden Expo (commonly called The Expo) is both the largest and longest running event dedicated to home and garden in SL, and runs from the 14th February through the 6th March 2016.

The Expo features a wide variety of creators: From well known brands to up and coming designers, hobbyists and professional merchants participate side by side to raise money for Relay For Life of Second Life (RFL of SL).

All Expo exhibitors are required to release two new 100% donation items at the Expo. These are exclusive to the Expo for the duration of the event, and all proceeds will be donated to RFL. This year's Expo will also include a massive gacha sale with 50% donation to RFL.

Chez Moi has some amazing things at The Expo this year and I am very excited to present them to you! You can find Chez Moi as well as some other wonderful designers on sim 7 at THE EXPO

One of Chez Moi's first exclusives is this Oh Deer Garden Bench. This bench includes both single and couples poses. With only 19 land impact, it contains 26 female and male single poses and 22 couples/love poses. There are also 4 Activity poses which includes poses for eating, drinking, reading or the phone. Relay For Life is the signature event of the American Cancer Society and has been active, and continually growing in Second Life for 10 years. In 2005, the first Relay For Life of Second Life (RFL of SL) was attended by a few hundred avatars and raised almost $5,000 US dollars for the American Cancer Society. As of July 2014 RFL of SL ranks number 17th out of 5000 teams world wide in donations received. We have brought in more than 2,5 million US dollars to help with the fight against cancer. This year our Relay weekend will be held on July 18th and 19th. Won’t you join us as we Relay in the largest party on the grid.

Sunday Mornings......

I remember when I was younger that Sunday mornings you would wake up to the smell of breakfast cooking. It was the one day a week that you could guarantee that the entire family was together.

The kitchen table is the anchor I believe for most families....do you have a central location that is important to your family? TV wasn't important to my family so we didn't always meet in the living room, but the kitchen was the important room of the house.

I love kitchens and this rustic dinette set from Newchurch is amazing! It comes with benches that seat 2 or 3, so you can set a table for 4, 5 or 6. There are the chairs that also come with the table so you can use those instead of the benches. In addition, the set comes with the dinnerware, the planter of flowers and the runner. There is a table option without the runner, if you'd like, and the flowers are separate so you can also choose your own centerpiece.

This set is so flexible that it is just wonderful to use! The animations are for men and women and there are different ones to choose from. The items are copy but not transfer, so check out these items!!

New from Goose Home & Garden

As seen on Love To Decorate, released today from Goose Home & Garden is the new Fire Pit Patio!

This is all original mesh, comes with several of the chair colors to choose from (light gray, dark gray, cream, blue and red). The bean bag chairs are all copy so that you can use as many as you like for those large gatherings. Each chair has 8 Single Animations and are high quality.

In My Part of the Woods.....

When I first bought the Hatake House from 22769 ~ [bauwerk], I couldn't wait to decorate it. I set up a platform for it, got the porch decorated and then stopped. One thing after another just kept getting in the way of decorating the little three room home.

It is rustic, quaint and beautifully done, it was me that needed more inspiration for the interior because I knew what the outside would look like the moment I purchased it. Then, I went to the August round of FaMESHed and saw the ONE piece that would then inspire me further to decorate this house.

The ONE piece that led me to further inspiration was the gorgeous kitchen/dining room table from Trompe Loeil. It is available currently at FaMESHed and comes with the 4 chairs and a bench seat. There is a HUD included that will allow you to change the napkins and the plates to match or not, customize them to your own personality. I chose to make all my plates and napkins non-match because it gave the room the rustic and country feel that I was looking for.

When you walk upstairs there are a few gacha items as well as a group gift that I received, as well as items that I have purchased from past events. Needless to say though, I am very please with how this house came together.

Such a shame now to tear it all down and start over with a new home to blog and furniture to fill it up. May just keep this one up for a while, who knows what I will do next in my part of the woods...lol.
